12 years done, time has come
Time we wait for, excitement and nerves
Out on our own, independent and alone

Parents sad, but glad
Planning for the break to come
Call to check in, send their regards

Four more years and your truly alone
Ready to go and start life
Making money, really living

Out of school and out on own
