Like a treasure box
nothing but gold and jewels inside

Someone to be your sunshine
On the Winter Solstice
Everyone needs a best friend
To blast music on short car rides
Or make up dances with
Everyone needs a best friend
Someone to hold your hand
When you’re happy, sad, mad, or scared
Everyone needs a best friend
Someone to go on adventures with
To places like the supermarket or Target
Everyone needs a best friend
Everyone has another half
Everyone has that person who they think should be their sibling
But we know
And God knows
If we were raised in the same household
It would be too much fun
