How Do You Expect Me
How do you expect me,
To pick up and move on,
When one day you love me,
And the next day you’re gone.
How do you expect me,
To just get over it,
When your words are painful,
And you treat me like s***.
How do you expect me,
To want to love you,
When you don’t care about me,
You make me feel like a shrew.
How do you expect me,
To always be happy,
When you are unkind,
And always so snappy.
How do you expect me,
To act so loving,
When you are so rude,
And you treat me like nothing.
How do you expect me,
To think of the “good times”
When all I can do,
Is rhyme, rhyme, rhyme
