" Knight " of glory

A green gown glittered in the light.
For me, the future looked bright.
Sweat dripping, hid tears of joy, where now is a man, once was a boy, with shaking limbs, he crossed the floor, anxious to learn, what life had in store.
When hands have been shacken.
And caps have been thrown, he looked ahead to life on his own.
