Noise
Noise is such a powerful thing,
It sails through the air unseen,
Unfelt,
Only when it reaches our ears do we take notice of it,
Noise is such an annoying thing,
Always distracting us from our work,
You may see something but not take much notice to it,
Then you hear a crash or bang,
And now the noise has got you lookin’ for its owner,
Noise is such a beautiful thing,
By stringing together a ring of noises we humans make music,
We take a bunch of crashes and bangs,
And make them into something of beauty,
We take a distraction and turn it into something worth hearing.
Noise is such a noisy thing,
Ikr ironic isn’t it,
Noise is a noisy thing,
Well what did you expect,
Noise is carried like a king cradled in a boat making its way down the nile,
Noise is the king or queen of all the senses,
It causes us to stop, look, and most of all Listen,
Noise will take you on a wild ride,
Where your eyes are no use where you cannot feel anything,
Where you cannot taste the air,
But noise is like a king,
carried by his subjects into your unwavering ear,
The king, now in your ear,
Whispering in your mind,
Influencing your thoughts.
