For A Second
What if the world stopped spinning?
What if for a second, people could be themselves and not be seen as misfits or 'freaks', having a chance to love themselves.
What if the world lined up across all borders and countries, holding hands, all standing united for once in history?
For just a second, the world could change. It would be history in the making.
Love would be seen as all it is, love, with no question.
People would all be seen as people, flaws would not be seen, everyone would be beautiful.
Acceptance would be a main priority. All of the hatefulness would lift into a big black cloud that it should be seen as.
Judgement would be like a curse. It would rarely slip through, but when it does, the world collapses.
Smiling faces would be seen everywhere, even in the busiest of places. You would always take a moment to say hello, possibly risking you to be late somewhere.
Worry would be a thing of the past. Live for the now. What happens tomorrow, will be a problem for tomorrow, not today.
If the world stopped spinning, so would the people.
We would all finally stop and watch the stars and sunset.
Every terrible thought and feeling would escape into oblivion.
Please, oh, please, world stop spinning. Just for a second.
