Loving you in review
I was taught how to love but not how to stop. I was taught how to dream but only round the clock. I was taught how to eat but not how to be petite. I was taught manners but not the standerds. I was taught how to speak but not how to be unique. I was taught how to learn but not how to discern. I was taught to make friends but not how to contend. I was taught how to listen but to not reminisce. I was taught to make memories but not to reverie. I was taught to respect but not genufelct. So when i found you and chose to pursue i should have eschewed because in review nothing prepared me for loving you.

My first heartbreak is what inspired me to write this piece. We are taught to love whole heartedly and we are not taught how to stop loving someone we have to learn this on our own. So when i was heartbroken for the first time i learned when to stop loving someone who doesn't love you back anymore.
