Sitting on a bench
Im on a bench
Im on bench just by myself
Listening to the birds chirp
And the crickets too
Watching the sun shine through the trees
And the rustle of the fallen autumn leaves
I see a Caterpillar inch across the ground
He seems lost but soon to be found
By the birds ahead circling in flight
But little does he know hes glistening in the light
The birds can not see
Granting him another day
So maybe he will sit on this bench next to me
Rather than growing and flying away.
