The Race
I start the race
Going fast but fast enough
People passing me
Left and right
My speed should be increasing,
But it isn’t
I worked early on the next race
Training my hardest
My speed increasing,
My work is paying off
I imagine the next race
I see the finish
Racing down my block
Hoping to beat my best time
I feel the wind blowing on my face
The race has begun
Starting off strong
Keeping a good steady pace
Only one mile left, I run faster
Finally,
I taste victory
I won

It means a lot more then what it is about. I was mostly making this be a poem to try your hardest, and eventually it will pay off.
