Thank You, For Being Mine
I go home everyday
to a warm, cozy bed,
but it’s not the bed
that I love
It’s a bear. A small
grizzly bear with
cushiony fluffed fur
his name is Papa Bear
I've had him since
I was born, and
he came everywhere,
from the park to the dentist
The harder I clutched him
the more i would feel
the pain of the tools in
my mouth. I believed I would die
He was always there
when i was bitter, when
I got hurt, and when
I was lonely
He would stay
by my side
when a punishment
came by
He was strong than, but
hes weakening now, losing
is fur and his fluff,
he’s coming apart
I stared at him the
other day, all alone
in the sticked up
corner of my bed
I picked him up,
hugging him slightly
so I didn't break
his weak neck
And I thanked him for
everything that he has done,
than I thanked him again
fore being mine, for being my Papa Bear
