The Friend
She
Many moons ago,
I had a Friend,
A friend that will remained unnamed,
This friend was the very special to me,
She was one I could always depend on,
Always trust,
One I could always talk to,
She of course,
Had a few flaws like all do,
She wasn’t the happiest,
She wasn’t the strongest,
The smartest,
Or the sweetest at times,
But what I saw in her,
The thing that made her special.
Was how she cared for you,
She’d never tell a false,
Unless to protect you,
Her honesty,
Her beauty,
Her loyalty,
And her empathy,
All of her perfections cancel out all her flaws,
More so,
They make her what one would call,
“Perfect”.
