The Meadow
Everyday Eloise would go
To and fro,
In search of a place
Hidden in space,
With secrets long concealed
A place where lips are sealed
There it lie glorious and good
Not being fully understood,
But rather listening
To the world always glistening,
And watching as time goes by
Knowing people will come with time
For Eloise had gone
In order to move on
As they watched by her bedside
Nervous by her side
Eyes watching the little girl take a breath
Then falling to the meadow of death
