Cool Weather

We can enjoy many things in our December.
Lovely or harsh, we’ll always remember.
In this type of weather the nights are often passive and dark.
Usual sounds are muffled as in a laugh or a dog's bark.
Winter season has crisp snow that's pretty thick,
in surprising odd ways makes it easy to think.
Now don't get me started on what suits best,
this savory hot cocoa makes me feel blessed.
Not all people will understand how lovely winter can be,
All I know is that my opinion’s out and free.
