Takis
Once I get out of the car
With my wallet in hand
I head into the blazingly lit store
That smells harshly of incense and all kinds of junk food,
7/11,
As I wander around the small convenience store
Something catches my eye.
A purple bag filled with the best thing in the world,
Takis,
I rushed to the isle and grab one
Maybe two
And my smile widens like a mad man's grin
As I head off to the cash register that's probably full of dust
So I hand the cashier the dirty money
And with the change in my hands
I head off
Skipping back to the red car, squealing
Overjoyed
Devouring the most beautiful food I’d ever laid eyes on,
Takis.
I observe every detail of each individual one before I gobble them all down
Red, powdery, and full of flavor
I can never have enough.
But the best thing is not only just the taste,
It's the look on peoples faces
As I share the treat for others to have too!
