"BIG"
“BIG”
This world seems to thrive on small talk,
But there is nothing in me that is small
People want a peaceful shoreline, but I am a hurricane
People want a simple kitten, but I am a tiger
So I tried to shrink my whole life
becoming a vanishing act
But the smallness was suffocating
The claustrophobia almost killed me
I tried to die
To escape the minuscule world that never understood me
But here I remain, not shrunken like a sweater
But as large as the cosmos

I've felt different my entire life. Like I care, feel, and think too much and too deeply. I am learning to embrace this instead of trying to change who I am. My passion is me.
