Walk Off
Sometimes I play baseball on the beautiful diamonds.
The smell of the fresh cut grass,
or the burn of scorching hot turf
Three strikes
Then the howl of the Umpire
The pop of the mitt
POW
The sound of a bat
CRACK like thunder
Going Going Gone,
6 rows deep,
Left field at Yankee Stadium
Game winner
Then teammates mobbing you on the field
Like you’re the last Xbox One on Black Friday
I love the game
