Hard work
Manual Labor isn’t for everyone.
Work isn’t just from 9-5.
Work is non stop
growing up on the farm.
walking through
the dense cloud of
eye burning
crap stench
Turkeys clawing at your flesh.
Blood oozing down your calf
like sweat running down your face.
Knowing you can’t stop
until you finish washing waters and
picking up the slimy lifeless birds.
Teared eyes
blood stain jorts
nose burning.
Help,
Help.
Help!
Runs over and over though my head
dad shows up.
“Everything okay?
need any help?”
Dad helps finish the work.
Everything is okay now.
The next morning i wake up
And now it’s all about to happen again
