where the halos lay
I was dazed and confused in the middle of a gentle chaos
Unsure what was happening to my life until I saw a butterfly flutter past me
I am in heaven.
I thought I was immortal
Curses were fake and death was avoidable
I refused to mourn while in my denial state of mind
I was not dead, I was alive
Until no one responded to me as I SCREAMED “HELLO! DO YOU SEE ME?”
I had BIG plans that did not consist of this disaster I was now in
Craving adventure to travel to the sun and moon
Meeting the LOVE of my life
Doing a job I admire every day of my endless life.
I was going to endure so much
but somehow I have found my way to this
I am in heaven.

The inspiration for my piece was found through combining completely random words and managing to create a poem out of it. Random words turned into a realistic, peaceful free verse poem.
