The Eternal Night
  It will never be morning again.
  The sun has set forever, the moon
  the conqueress of the sleepy sky.
  She lives like this always, a symbol,
  never quite woman, yet decided-
  ly female. She is dark and abhorr-
  ent. She is light and reflecting of
  an ancient tragedy. She is Hel-
  ena. She is a mermaid, a si-
  ren. To die for beauty is a bless-
  ing.
