Sunset Colours

I watch the sky turn colours,
Blending together with exotic shades.
Clouds shimmer- no longer dull- and I smile.
All day, these clouds are white; the sky is blue.
However, when the sunset comes…
Flares from Heaven appear,
And I see just how a promise
Is within those colours.
