Heading to the shadows,

Consumed by those who take light,

I wait for that day, you notice me 

For i am no different. 

You, the sun that shines on everyone,

I,the darkness hidden within.

My friend the moon, trapped in your light ,

I hear her cry at night , no laughter but tears.

No light will preach my hidden side,

The darkness is my winter night.

the cool breeze giving me that good old fright ,

The one that sparks up the night.

Fizzle,bang the sun is down,

People cheer all around

My friend still with a frown,

Now its time to turn that around
