Wounded Soldier
For every time you look up to,
The flag that shines red, white and blue,
Remember all the soldiers who
Have died and lost their lives for you.
As taps plays softly and loved ones cry
That was it their last goodbye.
As time went on, hearts have healed
But there’s always doubt, “Was it all real?”
So everytime you hear a flag, wave high up in the sky,
Remember all the soldiers who are gone and now lie.
