Let Him Go
Heartbreak is absence of love.
We get so wrapped up in love,
When it’s gone
There is a never ending void
Where it used to be.
You believe being friends will help.
It doesn’t.
Checking up every 6 weeks
It isn’t enough.
It doesn’t fill that void.
It tries to patch it.
It’s like you’ve become a drug addict.
You get high talking to him, you actually feel whole.
It wears off, the high doesn’t last.
Your so empty, all you want to do is feel whole again.
You become addicted.
The only time your whole is when your whole.
Is when you talk to him.
Eventually he cuts you off for good.
You go through withdrawl.
You’re a wreck, he wrecked you.
Your screwed up, you can’t love again.
So don’t be his friend.
Save your self.
He has already had the chance to hurt you,
quit giving him unlimited access.
