I come from long dresses
a big family tree.
So old,
they would walk to school in the snow.
I come from riding dirt bikes
being active,
going camping.
I come from respecting my elders,
eating properly at the dinner table.
I come from peanut butter and jelly,
tomato soup,
four siblings and
a loving family.
I come from a place
where it's okay to be,
you.
