Home.
He’s uneasy.
Afraid.
I would lead him home.
Watching, waiting, hoping.
Wondering how I had made this journey,
In my life.
He released my hand,
And…
I never saw him again.
Death.
Broken lives.
It made me sad.
But home was never visible.
Faded.
Busy.
Two children played in the front yard,
Enacting drama of their own.
Home.
Heartbreak.
Children getting older...
Never home.
Old.
Dizzy.
I finally can quit.
Home.
I miss…
Home.
