Soldier, I don’t want your love to be safe
Nor want red roses in my bed
With one is enough, anytime you want to give me one
  Remember I like white roses

I don’t want you to be faithful
Nor tie you to the side of my bed, just for you to be mine.
Even though it’s crazy, I just want you to look at the sky
And scream that you love me.

I just want simple things like a cup of wine, a retracing of your hand
Good nights where you know that you can count on me,
Even when there’s joy and sadness.

As warriors, after the battle, that heal their wounds in the sand,
My love, I invite you to rest on my pillow and I, on your strong soft chest.

And ultimately, I want you to look at you, feel the same love, and from that flag you fight for always remember you're great, you'll always be safe, stay strong free without conditions, loops or chains.

I do not want you to give me explanations, every time you let me down, I don’t want a dictionary of words coming out of your mouth when you want to say “I’m sorry,”
Just looking into your eyes, I know what you want to say

And finally, Soldier, if you die I want you to die for me and I with you, I do not want an inventory of what I already know I lost by not knowing how to say ... “ I really need you”
