"I wish"

“I wish”
Her lips never went chapt
She got so weak she couldn't walk
Her pain was unbearable
But losing her was worse
“I wish”
Her hair never abandoned her body
It was hard for her to go into public
But she still made an effort
Fighting for as long as she could
“I wish”
It wasn't so soon
So many things she didn’t get to do
Like get the purple wig of her dreams
“I wish”
Those beautiful brown eyes weren't a thing of the past
that now causes people pain
And November 11th
Wasn't a day of hell
