Reality As A Dream

As I found myself,
Over his body
His hand on mine.
He wanted to leave the dark
So I lead him
To the door.
Broken neighborhoods visible
In daylight,
Night approaching in the distance.
Children played
In the blazing streets below
While rain lay on my nose
I made my way home.
