How She Looks When She Laughs
Spirals of flames sprawled around her face
crawled from her head
sunk into the dirt
grass curled fingers around ringlets.
Round acorns rose from her cheeks
golden speckles
pink tulips blossomed.
Crinkles deepened by blue
oceans of wonder
her eyes transformed ruin into beauty.
Pale fingers stretched for miles
gripping sides in bliss
her body bent in joy
out of her came song.
