I Had a Friend
I had a friend
This friend is the reason for my tears on so many of those dark, demonized nights
The reason why I have to put on a mask from day to day
Hoping that the scotch tape doesn't come off
because if it does my mask will fall
And that will be the end of me
That's when everyone can see the pain, and misery i have been through
They can see the bloody tears that have stained my face
In which I can never wash off
for they cut deep in my skin like a razor blade upon a forearm
But for now that scotch tape has held on
And for the time that it stays on
I can keep going through life like many others think I live my life

What had inspired me to do this poem was a frined that I had. This so called friend had really hurt me effecting me in a bad way. He made me wander around in my memories thinking about the wrongs ive done. I just couldnt take being like this anymore so i wrote the poem to let my feelings out and this really helped me. I now feel way better.
