Love.
Have you ever thought about love? If it truly exists, or if it's all in our heads?
I would consider myself a hopeless romantic, but I've never been in love.
You love your parents and everything but that's not love.
Love is when you meet someone you don't know and never thought you'd know,
and realizing that you can't truly live without them in your life.
A friend of mine fell in love with someone, and that someone continued to hurt her, and hurt her.
And she keeps coming back for more.
I don't know how to feel anymore.
If love is setting a place at the table for someone who's never coming home,
I think I'll pass.
If love is showing up drunk at the doorstep of someone who doesn't want you and begging,
I think I'll pass.
If love is giving someone everything you have left inside of you to give, and watching them throw it all away like a wadded piece of paper,
I don't want it.
