One day when you open your eyes
One day when you open your eyes
You will find a new day a completely new you
Here I am amazed
At the sparks a match can make
That one instant, one touch or one lost
That gives birth to the sudden fire
That burns eyes and brings pain
That destroys layer and layers of old skin
That eventually disappears and fades away
Yet The smoke lingers behind
So did the past
And the smell remains to remind us of ourselves once again
