Space
Look into the night sky, what do you see?
Your imagination can run free
Never-ending, no signs of stopping,
Filled with things that are eye-popping.
Millions of galaxies swirling around,
Yet most of them haven’t been found.
Floating through the endless space,
Nothing, can be erased.
Living but not knowing,
Only discovering what is near and showing.
Hard to imagine what could be out there,
If they know about us, if they care.
Do they see what we see?
Some don’t even believe,
That there could be
Another world to see.
Planets and solar systems,
Black holes and other organisms,
With their own stories to be told,
Of how they got so old.
Only they could ever know
What gave them their glow.
So take a look in a telescope
And believe in your hopes.
