Rubber band
The band is breaking
Your rubber band
The one you swore to respect
To love
To cherish
It's about to snap
It's about to wear thin and hit someone
You were trying so hard to hold on
And it snaps
As the other person walks away
You sit on the ground
Afraid of the thought of the band
So you trash it
You throw away every memory connected to it
You trash every memory connected to it
You trash the places that you went to
When you though the band would never break
Now you relize
The band was just a joke
That no one took seriously
Everyone knew it would snap
You were too caught up in it
To relize it started wearing thin
A long time ago
