Surrounded by darkness
Eyes wide open
No one around
The only sound is your breathing
Past mistakes flood your memory
Suddenly they can't stop
Like a dam being broken
Memories flood your head
Everything you've been trying to block out
Sits there
Waiting for you to break
Waiting for you to face what has happend
But you just sit there
Eyes wide open
Trying to get to sleep
