I imagine how you rub
The sleep from your eyes
In the morning as you wake
From a tranquil sleep-
I imagine your eyes fluttering and lips
Stir softly
As I pull your hand closer
To mine
Sleepy kiss,
Then you roll over and say,
“Good morning, sweetie,”-
My morning cup of
Reality.
