Your best teacher is your last mistake

I miss coming home telling you about my day

I miss sitting with you watching movies all day

I miss all the good times we had

I know you told me not to dwell on the past

But for right now its all i have

I know you're in heaven cooking away

I cant stop thinking about you

I have mised you ever since that day

The hardest times

Are the ones that used to the best of the days

Like your birthday, and mothers day

I remember when i was little

I would wake up early

Try my best to make you breakfast in bed

Salty eggs, burnt toast, half frozen sausages all on a little plate

Didn't care if you ate it or not

It was just to put a smile on your face

Or on Mother's day

When i would write you a song

Can't get those moments back

Now that your gone

I wasn't always an angel

At times I did wrong

Always into something

But i always made it home

Since your passing

I moved to Georgia and found a girl

Like you told me when i was younger

To find a girls that completes my world

I know your watching over me

I hope i'm making you proud

I'm no longer breaking hearts

I'm no longer sneaking around

I've changed alot

And its mostly because of her

I hope that you approve

Because i really love her alot

But don't worry ma

She won't take your spot

No women on this earth can take your place

I wish you were here with me

I have so much to talk about

Alot of problems I would only talk to you about

Everyday I'm stressing over something

But I always think of what you would tell me

From there problems turn into nothing

I have to stay strong

Keep my head high

Till I'm there with you

Once again i'll bring you breakfast

And I'll sing you your song

I love and miss you.
