Primitive
We have left our brothers and sisters behind
We have taken on their future form
We have forgotten about them, now so far above
We block them out with the orange glow of our empires of steel and glass
So far above they stare in awe of our mastery and of our foolishness
The wish to remind of us the days before war
The days when we inhabited the universe and its entirety
When we were at peace and in love with one another
They cry when they see us, man, woman, child, all fighting each other in the name of fortune
Each night they smile at us wishing we could be together again
Some nights they are shrouded by the clouds
The still manage to force their way through to say hello in our times of desperation
Do not forget about our brothers and sisters so far above
They miss us
Speak to them when you have the time
Do not let them live alone forever
