A Pet
Noun: domestic animal kept for pleasure or companionship and is treated with care and compassion.
A pet is someone you can talk to without receiving a response you don’t want. A pet is someone you can do something with. They can make you feel safe or at home.
I normally keep everything to myself, even if I have something to say. It’s not very healthy to keep your feelings bottled up, and I’m not one to write them down. Even though it sounds pretty lame to talk to your pets, I find that it helps. You’re getting everything out of your system. A pet won’t give you a response you don’t want. They’ll wag their tails and cuddle up to you. It’s one of their specialties.
A pet is a fantastic companion: always there for you, wanting to be with you.
A pet is a great roommate: they sleep when you sleep, eat when you eat, clean your floors if you drop some food, and they clean themselves!
A pet is a best friend: always wanting to go on an adventure, or just hang out.
A pet is a cuddle buddy when you need it, someone to talk to if you have to get something off your chest, or just someone to go places with.
