Beauty, she says,
ain’t got no definition
It ain’t got no
sparkly-glitter
howdee-doo
click clack
high heels
down the street
Beauty, she says,
don’t roll easy
off the tongue
It ain’t something
you can word-bomb
drop into
conversation
scatter paragraphs
send ‘em flying
No
Beauty, she says,
don’t need no words
at all
‘cause it only comes
flashing
glimmer-quick clarity
like oh, that’s
God.
