Change

Happiness is sunshine
on a summer day.
Two laughters
Twirl in the breeze.
Happiness is growing up
side by side.
Blooming beautifully at the same time.

Distance is walking
in a lonely fall.
Moving to different schools.
Living in different countries.
Distance is no contacts
  in weeks.
Being half a world apart.

Jealousy is bitter cold,
empty winter.
The old warmth clings to her.
The new chills are cooler.
Jealousy is when we start
to differ.
Memories buried under snow.

Change is spring transforming
its looks.
The startling,
Flourishing pain.
Change is days of wondering
why?
Then embracing the new.

We are definitely not the same,
Not the same appearance
Not the same warmth
Not the same charm
Yet why I feel something,
So wistful.
As if her eyes hold the same daring wish
That we could be young
once
again.
Hands by hands
We walk together
Speak to each other
Observe one another
For we are brand new again.
With hope in every change of friendship.
