The Backpack
I put on the backpack, ready to get through another day…
Throughout the day, books and notes are added to the bag.
One after another,
each is a task that I must add to my list of events.
Too many things to do, not enough time.
Stress.
As the bag gets heavier, stress lingers,
slowing you down, burdening a day
at ease.
Everything must be completed,
taken out of the bag, or
collapse occurs…
Finish this, finish that.
Not enough time to make the best of it!
The pressure pushes and makes it hard to run freely and catch that train that will take you
on.
As the work gets done
and the bag is emptied,
the weight is finally off my shoulder.
Relieved, I am free from the stress that slowed me down.
Complete.
