Forever Trapped

Inside self nothing alike

Outside self happy and quiet
Inside It's a struggle
Outside smiles everyday
Nodding and waving gets tiring

Want let it all out
Pressure to get good grades
Study, study all the time
Trapped in a cage
Drowning in my thoughts

Outside just wants to disappear
Nothing to remember
Tries to make everyone happy
Keeps to themselves
Why?

Inside is dying
Screaming to be let out
Bruises given to by life
Can’t do it anymore
Want to be free

This piece really shows how a person can be different from the inside and outside. Not everyone is how you really think they are.
