Before I got to frost valley the thing that I excited be the most turned out to be the thing that excited me the least. Let me explain. I was extremely excited to hear that my senior class would be going to frost valley. I was disappointed that we were all not going to be able to go together but it thought pass it. from other students that went to frost valley I heard that it is an action packed day full of activities and fun. The thing that I was most excited for was to climb trees. I love heights it's the one of the closest things that makes me feel like I can fly.
When we arrived I was in awe. I couldn't believe the sight, We we actually in the middle of a valley in a large field. We were surrounded by tree dense mountains or hills. If you look closely at a tree far on the mountain you can see the branch swinging, without thinkly. I was just a calm slow swing that looked free and uncontrolled I was surprised that I can see such detail so far away. I was mesmerised by the sight. I reached for my phone to capture this moment like any other city kid. However… I left it on the bus because Mr Ramos said there wouldn't be a service. I turned around and there goes the bus.
The concoller bros loud voice snapping my head, screaming in enthusiasm and joy. we played several games that caused me to interact with kids that I normally don't speak to. I felt like a dream that I was waiting for my mom to interrupt. When I grew tired of the laboring games I layed back and look at the sky. I layed in the grass and just looked up. The smell of the fresh grass filled my nose. The blue sky with foggy spots or clouds floating by was the only thing I can see. i could hear my friends and peers payin. I could sometime make out distinct voices. The light breeze would hit my sweaty body and my face making me cool.
We ate large sandwiches filled with meat and a side of watermelon. They also gave us juice to wash it down.  We conversated and got to know each other sharing options laughs and stories. After the sandwich I was done and ready to go. I was so sleeping and filled with happy ness and content. And that's when we went to the tree climbing area. Most of the time I wasn't even worried about when I go I was more about who's up and supporting them cause it evident the are scared. Or helping someone out. I left from frost valley just feeling great a received. When recalling the events to my mom she was surprised that I wasn't going to detail about the tree climbing and that's when I realised being with my peers was better than my personal goal to climb a tree.
