Perfection
Here we all stand, like we rule the world,
It is in our grasp, and it can not be missed.
Just one moment may cause a crack,
And it happens every time like the flick of a switch.
Perfection.
It acts as a standard, for the brave and the mighty,
It is their goal in life; their one job,
To do it right, nothing more or less,
They push themselves to the limit, yet there is a flaw in the plan.
Perfection.
Some cases must be mastered, for the sake of other’s,
All that is thought of are the consequences of what may occur.
They prepare and they practice, with rushing thoughts,
Of what may happen if something goes wrong.
Perfection.
It is a good thing for the future, so we can keep on improving.
Always something to fix, and always something to work on.
It affects people differently, and some maybe not at all.
But it is a good thing that it sticks around because,
What would life be like if everything were perfect?
