We are the generation of not knowing what to do
Of going to community college
Of parties
Of stress
Of long nights
Of waiting for love that won’t come
We hope
That someday anybody will come along and fill a void in us.
But hope is not always enough
We don’t
See the value in ourselves
Listen enough
care.
