Open up to the galaxy.
You’re never going to bask
in the blue of the sky.
And you are never going to use clouds as flotation devices,
I promise, you’ll fall through every time you try.

And no matter how many times you attempt it,
you are never going to be able to walk on water.
It cannot sustain your weight when
you are carrying the world on your shoulders.
You’re going to have to use stepping stones
And that is ok.

And you can stare up at the stars for as long as you see fit,
But they are never going to be as fascinated with you
As you are with them.
They are never going to fall from the sky for you.
