The Sight of the Untold
You may call me cold,
Or aloof at the least,
But I know something untold,
That everyone else is too blind to see.
You are the class clown,
And they all laugh and clap.
But you're going straight down,
Where you'll hit the bottom with a crash.
When I look at you, I see,
Not a circus animal performing tricks,
But the unproductive drain you'll be,
Once you're called out of your youth.
For a reason untold,
They all find you charming,
But I know what will unfold,
Once it's time to move on.
We all wish to have sight,
But it can be Eve's apple,
As it comes with acting right,
Many cannot handle it.
I am not aloof,
I am not cold.
But I have the sight,
Of everything untold.
