Jai Guru Deva
When she played pinball with the sky
her crude creased hands would release the sphere
Springing it across the stars and
In this moment she was truly happy.
Her teeth shined like broken light
Separated and scattered through space
Her giggles slither past the spaces between
Her petite pearly whites.
The rings of saturn orbit around
Her gentle smiling eyes.
As the ball bounces beam by beam of
Light seized in the straight strands
Of her silky blonde hair.
Suddenly the sphere spirals
out of the course of stars and planets.
Her eyelashes fluttered in fear and disbelief
She watches her happiness
Slowly Slip across the universe.
