We all have caged animals inside of us
And they’re just itching to get out.
They’re wild creatures,
begging to be tamed,
begging to be held,
begging to be home.
They want nothing more than to be loved,
nothing more than to finally be put together
rather than be torn apart.
They want nothing more than to be recognized
as a heart.
